12:00 p.m. — Spinal Workshop – 4 CE (1 Pharmacology/Therapeutics CE) | Jerrol Wallace, DNP, CRNA, CAPT, USN, NC, FAANA
Objectives:
- Describe the anatomy of the spinal cord and its relevant structures.
- Describe the pharmacology of local anesthetics used in spinal anesthesia
- Demonstrate the proper positioning and preparation for administering spinal anesthesia.
- Demonstrate alternate techniques and positioning during spinal anesthesia placement.

12:00 p.m. — Epidural Workshop – 4 CE (1 Pharmacology/Therapeutics CE) | Jerrol Wallace, DNP, CRNA, CAPT, USN, NC, FAANA
Objectives:
- Describe the anatomy of the spinal cord and its relevant structures.
- Describe the pharmacology of local anesthetics used in epidural anesthesia.
- Demonstrate the proper positioning and preparation for administering epidural anesthesia.
- Demonstrate alternate techniques and positioning during epidural anesthesia placement.

Cancellation & Refund Policies
You may cancel your registration up until April 30, 2024 to receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee. After that date, no refunds will be given. Cancellations must be received via email at NAFA@vcu.edu.
In the unlikely case that an event is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the NAFA will fully refund registration fees, but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including change or cancellation charges, to include but not limited to airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology for 30.00 Class A CE Credits; Code Number 1043825; Expiration Date 5/31/2024.
AANA designates this program as meeting the criteria for up to 6.25 CE Credits in pharmacology/therapeutics
Note: Each workshop is 4 Class A CE Credits with 1 CE Credits in pharmacology/therapeutics.
